If
house is a feeling, get ready to feel it strong - Darius &
Stealthy have arrived. The coast to coast production duo consisting
of Michael Darius of Los Angeles and Alex Stealthy of Moscow
have recently become two of few emerging artists in the electronic
dance music culture.
With great passion for music at a very young age, this unique
dj/producer/remixer Michael Darius captivates his audience
with his creative style of music. Michael's talents are not
just technical, his instinctive musical creativity and skillful
DJing tactics come straight from the heart. His performances
emit an overwhelming amount of feeling and emotion. Due to
the masterful collaboration of music produced he was asked
to join DHV Records in spring of 2002.
Much like Michael, Alex too had an undying passion and love
for music. At the age of 16, Alex was proving his love with
musical compositions in the genre of electornica. Receiving
massive positive feedback, he decided that it was time to
share his visions in music with other artists. After much
success with a few projects in Moscow, he then began expanding
his horizons and experimenting with intelligent drum and bass,
as well as tech step and various other forms of the drum and
bass genre. Alex was soon signed to DHV records where he was
introduced to Michael.
So much has changed since Mike and Alex first crossed paths
in late 2002 with the help of HP from DHV Records. Both continuing
to challenge and expand their musical views and abilities,
their acquaintance was an act of fate. Just after a few meetings
with Michael, Alex began taking new interest in progressive
trance, deep trance, and various other forms of progressive
house. Michael too was very much impressed by Alex's talent
in creating beautiful melodies. Falling in love with their
new "genre," the two quickly built an admirable
friendship and began to collaborate on various tracks under
the newly formed group "Darius & Stealthy."
Their first single "Planet X" was released on EDM
Digital along with "Inroad" and "Out of Reality".
The tracks quickly received support from "A list"
DJs and artists such as Markus Schultz, Hernan Cattaneo, LikWit,
Blueroom Project, Christopher Lobsinger, and many more. Their
remix of Bjork's "Pagan Poetry" has also erupted
on dance floors across the world and given them the recognition
they have received. They exercise their musical masterminds
by working as a team and individually. They currently work
on solo projects with their own unique styles. The future
looks forward to hearing more from these generous talents...giving
us freedom to express, the passion to feel and reasons to
dance. Without a doubt fans new and old will be captivated
and mesmerized by their musical ingenious.
